Insight Global Senior Software Engineer in San Diego, California
Job Description
A leading healthcare technology company is looking to hire 4 Software Engineers to work on a cutting-edge state of the art application that is getting real time data from their lifesaving medical devices and providing reporting to physicians. These individuals will be on the Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics Heart team. They are decommissioning a monolithic java based application and moving it all to spring boot microservices in AWS. This person should be a strong Back-End developer with Java/Springboot/AWS and ideally have some experience or familiarity with Angular for any UI work needed.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree or higher is a plus).
Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and JavaScript, with extensive experience in Angular for UI development.
Demonstrated experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems.
Solid background in cloud technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), including hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with regulated environments, with a preference for experience in software development for medical devices. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Database - Specialty) are a plus.
Knowledge of healthcare data integration and compliance (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
Proficiency in GraphQL and RabbitMQ null
