GVI Inc ., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Shipyard Availability Planner in San Diego, CA to provide Alteration Installation Team (AIT) support by performing critical logistics functions for shipboard installation planning and execution.
Job Title: Shipyard Availability Planner – Entry Level
Position Responsibilities:
Prepare schedules, presentations, and other deliverables in support of shipboard systems integration.
Generate shipboard Quality Assurance Workbooks in accordance with established company and U.S. Navy standards.
Assist Alteration Installation Team (AIT) personnel in pre-installation planning activities.
Position Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
HS diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of prior relevant shipyard experience.
Experience with naval shipyards, work control, and Alteration Installation Team (AIT) industry preferred.
Experience with NAVSEA technical documentation a plus.
Experience with MS Excel, Project, and PowerPoint preferred.
Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro a plus.
Ability to multi-task.
