Actalent Software Project Manager in San Diego, California
Description:
Our company is seeking a Project Manager to join our Global Revenue Operations team. This role involves partnering with a program manager to facilitate the integration of an acquisition, ensuring that the Commercial team, processes, and systems are ready for effective selling, fulfillment, and support of the acquired products and services.
The Project Manager will handle key activities within both the project management and software development lifecycles. General project management tasks will include creating project charters, schedules, risk and issue logs, status reports, and organizing meetings such as requirement gathering sessions and change management plans. Specific software development tasks will involve preparing for Agile/Scrum sprint planning and facilitating user acceptance testing. To achieve these objectives, theProject Manager will primarily work with the Global Revenue Operations team but will also collaborate with other departments within and outside the Commercial organization, such as Sales, Service, GIS/IT, Product Development, and Quality/Compliance.
The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Ability to develop business cases to justify investments for specific requirements and support prioritization.
Effective communication skills with individual contributors, mid-level managers, and leaders.
Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
Experience in identifying project risks and creating mitigation plans.
Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, and collaboration and remote working tools.
