Insight Global Technical Project Manager in San Diego, California
Job Description
An employer in San Diego is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their team to support a large scale migration of their loyalty and promotion platforms from their legacy system. The platform will be upgraded to SaaS based, and will be integrated across an omni channel ecosystem and will be released in phases over the next year. This Technical Project Manager will oversee a Scrum team directly responsible for the migration, and will work in tandem with product development, development, and QA teams along with other internal groups and stakeholders. This is a matrixed retail environment, and it is imperative to understand cross-functional needs, blockers, dependencies, risks and timelines. The Project Manager must be a self-starter and technically savvy, as well as be able to communicate and partner with critical business stakeholders and C-level executives. This is starting as a contract role, looking to work a hybrid schedule in San Diego.

Skills and Requirements
-4+ years of Technical Project or Program Management
-Experience managing large scale, complex, highly technical and highly critical projects or programs
-Experience creating project plans, timelines, gant charts, managing through Jira
-Experience working cross-functionally with many teams involved and C-level executives (technical and non technical)
-Familiarity with backend systems, and software development best practices and the ability to collaborate with product design teams to build exceptional customer experiences
-Strong proficiency in Jira and Outlook365 -Experience within retail or e-commerce
-Experience with loyalty or membership programs
-Experience with Eagle Eye null
