Accenture Accenture Labs Next Generation Architecture R&D Specialist in San Francisco, California

Accenture Labs is the applied R&D arm of Accenture. We actively create a proof of concepts showing how to apply to improve a new technology, file patents, publish papers to conferences, and work on firstofitskind deployments with clients.Within Labs, the Systems Platforms team focuses on developing platforms that leverage ecosystems of users, technologies, and devices. An individual robot or ML model may work great in isolation. However, how can we maximize performance by integrating robots from multiple vendors or by coupling data from other partiesOur team s recent work has included improving capabilities of robotics, accelerated computing, DevOps for AI, generative design, digital twins, and edge analytics. Join us as we continuously rotate to the new and overcome tackle the largest opportunities across diverse industries.

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD

  • Demonstrated technical excellence in robotics and edge IoT with 5 years of software development experience

  • 1 year of management experience growing and leading a small team

  • Proven inventor with experience filing patents to protect intellectual property

Bonus Points if:

  • Strong knowledge of the robotics vendor landscape across multiple industries

  • Experience coordinating and driving work across large, distributed organizations

  • Experience architecting and building complex software systems encompassing infrastructure, application, scale, and security concerns

  • Vibrant curiosity about technology and pushing the bounds of the possible

  • Experience creating and driving strategic vendor relationships

  • Proven inventor with experience filing patents to protect intellectual property

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to distill and map high level requirements to concrete technical features
