Summary
This position is responsible for entry level repairs and service across a wide array of electrical/mechanical equipment. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of San Francisco, CA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Repair, inspect and maintain rental inventory of electric chain hoists, winches, and other electrical/mechanical equipment
Repair, inspect and maintain electric chain hoists as a service for other companies in the entertainment and tradeshow industries
Reconfigure chain hoists in rental inventory as required by rental demand
Communicate regularly with Service Manager regarding maintenance concerns, repair parts inventory, and product improvements
Interpret exploded views, electrical data, and wiring diagrams
Assist in essential duties and responsibilities as defined in job description for Equipment Inspector
Attend production meetings as required
Designate tasks to all hoist technicians on a daily basis
Determine daily workflow for all hoist technicians
Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree Preferred
Certificate of Completion or Degree from accredited college or trade school related to the field of electronics is preferred
Preferred 1-2 years of related experience within rigging production and/or warehouse operations
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must maintain a valid state driver's license.
