Avispa Technology Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician in San Francisco, California

Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician 1324058 A leading video, audio, and voice technologies company is seeking a Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating systems for media demos of or companies: Film Screenings, Presentations, and Events. Additionally, this position will require weekday, weekend, and evening availability. The ideal candidate has 5 years of relevant experience as an AV Technician. Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician Pay and Benefits: • Hourly pay: $30/hr • Worksite: Leading audio, video, and voice technologies company (San Francisco, CA 94104) • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL • 15-20 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician Responsibilities: • Operate audio, video, and projection systems and provide technical assistance for our Cinema and Gallery demos and events. • Quickly and accurately route digital and analog signals through networked systems and physical patch bays. • Set up and operate small PA systems and presentation monitors for events throughout the building. • Assist in content management on projection systems, and general A/V systems maintenance. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the projection booth, tech areas in the Cinema, and storage rooms. • Must have excellent customer facing skills and exposure handling critical high-pressure issues for all levels of employees, including ELT members. • Fundamental understanding of audio and video signal flow, projection systems, live sound mixing, wireless mic systems, and live event workflows • Strong technical troubleshooting, problem solving, and documentation skills with a keen attention to detail. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, collaborate effectively with event teams, and work well with others under pressure. • Competency in both Mac and PC Operating Systems • Experience with PowerPoint presentations in a Corporate Event environment. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Excellent multitasking skills, able to manage multiple tasks while meeting specific deadlines. • Effective communication and presentation skills, and comfortability addressing various levels within the organization. • Other title for search can be Cinema Projectionist. Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician Qualifications: • 5+ years of relevant experience as an AV Technician. • Bachelor’s degree required. • Experience using Crestron Systems • Experience using KVM systems. • Knowledge of and experiencing using Dante, ProTools, and Audio Architect. • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends (part-time position).
