The Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team forges the strategic direction of Wells Fargo, provides and manages our digital foundation and common capabilities, and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company. About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a senior digital payments leader with extensive experience in creating digital payments strategies, and driving innovative products to our consumer customers.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and lead a team: Manage and develop teams of digital professionals to drive out enhancements to existing digital payments products and deliver net new products to Wells Fargo customers. Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in aligned department or business group.

  • Partner and collaborate: Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals across the enterprise, including senior executives. Partner with multiple 3rd party and fintech companies to bring innovative solutions to our customers.

  • Strategically plan: Develop, evangelize, and generate buy-in for digital payment strategy across diverse product sponsors for programs and initiatives with impact across the business line and consumer customer segments

  • Manage product roadmap and performance: Create product roadmap and lead team to deliver product features. Create and manage KPIs and OKRs across delivery teams, making appropriate in-year adjustments to achieve goals.

  • Operate in the payments landscape: Understand the overall payments landscape, customer digital payments solutions ecosystem, and emerging trends both in B2C, C2B, and B2B usage.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven track record creating and leading high-performing digital product management teams

  • Experience delivering large-scale consumer payments platform modernization, including technical up-tiering of internal and external ACH platforms

  • Command of payments system architectural patterns, data movement, and system interactions

  • Evidenced innovation in consumer payments space, driving new products and features to consumer customers in digital spaces

  • Ability to deliver in a large complex organization

  • Experience directing overall customer experience working with customer research and customer experience teams

Job Expectations:

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

  • This position is a hybrid work model, must be willing to work out of San Francisco, CA or Charlotte, NC approximately 3 days a week

Pay Range:

  • $144,400 - $300,000
