Robert Half Information Security Analyst in San Francisco, California
Description We are in the search for an Information Security Analyst to join our team in San Francisco, California. The selected candidate will be a key player in managing operational security tasks, focusing primarily on application security. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, and is sure to provide a challenging and rewarding experience for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle level 1 on-call support for the Application Security team.
• Manage vulnerability tickets with accuracy and speed.
• Conduct comprehensive security reviews and threat modeling.
• Coordinate and oversee the logistics of the Third-party pentest program.
• Resolve Bugcrowd issues and blockers in a timely manner.
• Analyze and manage security vulnerabilities reported by our tools.
• Carry out other Application Security Operational Tasks as needed.
• Use project management and logistics skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Utilize communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Apply analytical skills to solve problems and make informed decisions. Requirements • Proficient in Information Security and Security Tools
• Demonstrable experience in Project Management
• Strong aptitude in Logistics and Operations Task management
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Java
• Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with Best Practices in the information security field
• Strong Analytical Skills to assess and address potential vulnerabilities
• Experience in Vulnerability Analysis
• Familiarity with SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle
• Ability to effectively triage and prioritize tasks
• Operational knowledge of the software 'Join Me'
• Experience in Application Security
• Willingness to provide On-Call Support
• Ability to identify and address Security Vulnerabilities
• Experience in Thread Modeling
• A solid understanding of Information Security practices.
