We are currently seeking an Account Manager who will be responsible for leading and delivering sales strategy execution in California.
What we’ll get you doing:
Assume territorial and account management responsibilities for California representing both assigned biopharma and biotech accounts as well as develop regional prospect pipelines.
Expand commercial relationships with existing clients for both existing and new offerings from IDBS.
Develop and progress new pipelines within the territory to achieve regional and personal targets.
Own the development and execution of account plans for target accounts
Effectively promote and educate targeted accounts on the challenges the industry is facing and how IDBS provides solutions to positively impact their business through one-on-one meetings, group presentations and company-approved industry conferences, etc.
Here is what success in this role looks like:
Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years of enterprise software sales experience (preferably Life Sciences software sales) and/or sales experience within the Life Sciences industry, including biopharma, bioprocessing, and/or bioanalytics preferred.
Accustomed to dealing with complex deals and multiple stakeholders, including VP and C-level decision makers, and can navigate a 12–18-month sales cycle preferred .
Experience in R&D, process development, and manufacturing within biopharma products/industry is preferred.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel regularly to customer sites, approximately 50%.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience with a sales methodology,
Challenger Sale preferred

The salary range for this role is $115,000-$135,000. This is the range that we, in good faith, believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
