KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services (https://tax.kpmg.us/content/tax/en/index.html) practice.
Responsibilities:
Provide tax compliance and advisory services to owners and senior executives of KPMGs private client base which focuses on ultra-high net worth individual, trust and estate clients
Prepare complex individual income, gift, trust and estate tax returns for ultra-high net-worth individuals and Family Offices
Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects
Advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice
Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm
Qualifications:
Minimum two years of ultra-high net worth individual and/or trust and estate tax experience in an accounting firm and/or law firm
Bachelors degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation and/or Master?s in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
Deep experience with individual income tax and/or gift tax, estate tax and trust taxation; multi-generational estate planning experience is a plus
Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
Excellent advisory, compliance, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
