Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Property Accountant to manage the property financial operations for our real estate portfolio. This role reports directly to ownership.

Key Responsibilities
Manage, analyze, and interpret leases, including annual reviews of lease abstracts and rent rolls
Prepare and analyze tenant statements and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate billing of all rents and additional charges
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in tenant accounts
Prepare and manage property budgets
Handle tenant operating escalations, monthly payments, and true-ups
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
Analyze and prepare property depreciation schedules
Compile supporting documentation for tenant audits
Collaborate closely with property managers, the controller, and other key stakeholders

Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience in property accounting
Expertise in CAM reconciliation
Proficiency in Yardi accounting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
