Tatum by Randstad has partnered with a leader in ing artificial intelligence to healthcare on their search for a Senior Revenue Accountant. This organization's flagship product is the first to be approved by the FDA and delivers critical information about stroke patients directly to specialists to enable faster and more accurate intervention.
This contract-to-hire engagement is a fully remote position, and will be part-time (20-30 hours weekly) to start out. The ideal candidate will primarily be working Pacific Standard Time hours, but will need to be flexible since there are employees in multiple time zones.
The compensation range for this engagement is $45/hr. - $55/hr. with flexibility based on previous experience.
Position Summary:
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for managing complex revenue transactions, ensuring compliance with ASC 606, and supporting the end-to-end quote-to-cash process. You will collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, and Finance teams to streamline processes and maintain the accuracy of financial statements and revenue recognition schedules.

responsibilities:
Review and analyze complex contracts/agreements, identifying key terms and issues to ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with ASC 606.
Approve and commit sales orders for revenue recognition and maintain supporting documentation.
Manage the quote-to-cash process, including contract audits, order review, billing, and revenue recognition.
Collaborate with Sales and Professional Services to enhance workflow integration between NetSuite, Salesforce, and other internal systems.
Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements.
Assist in forecasting, preparation of month-end financial reports, including balance sheet and P&L variance analyses.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
3+ years of industry experience or 5+ years in public accounting, with experience in software revenue recognition.
Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm preferred.
Strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition in the software industry.
Proven ability to communicate complex accounting topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
