This role will be based in New York, NY, San Francisco, CA or Sunnyvale, CA.

This role sits in our LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) business, the digital advertising arm of LinkedIn. The vision of LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions (LMS) business is to create economic growth for every organization worldwide by helping marketers reach, engage and convert their audiences at scale.

The Senior Sales Operations Associate role will support various new and existing processes and programs managed by the Global GTM Operations team. This position offers a candidate with consulting, business transformation, and project management experience an exciting and high-profile opportunity to influence the trajectory of a significant portion of LinkedIn’s overall business. Candidates hoping to fill this role must be nimble team players who are comfortable managing multiple cross-functional relationships and projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee core BAU business processes for the LMS organization, in coordination with segment Ops and partner teams.

  • Establish process standards, cadence and controls for project documentation and workflow.

  • Identify and propose relevant improvements based on future state vision and best-in-class industry examples, through a systems lens.

  • Own proposal development, process alignment with key stakeholders & leaders, and business case/requirements submission to partner teams.

  • Support systems and tools transformation initiatives to help sales teams and partners effectively scale and grow, as they pertain to key business processes.

  • Program manage portfolio of process improvements & rollout: manage timelines, track & communicate progress against key initiatives, set expectations with key stakeholders and partner teams, issue escalation and risk mitigation.

  • Develop communications and sales enablement plan to drive successful change management.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders that support ongoing projects and define growth opportunities.

  • Proactively mobilize key stakeholders and drive Leadership support & buy-in for strategic initiatives.

  • Think like an owner and have an impact outside of your core functions by demonstrating leadership, providing leverage and producing results that will help effectively scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technology or media industries or in management consulting 

  • 5+ years of experience in program management

  • 5+ Experience working with MS Excel, MS Power Point

  • BA/BS degree

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal communication, experience with senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and proven track record of working effectively and influence at different levels and functions of an organization.

  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams and competing priorities.

  • Comfortable with data, learning new technologies and working with technical teams.

  • Intellectually curious, strong emotional intelligence, resilient, passionate and doesn’t take themselves too seriously. 

  • Experience in Media or Advertising business.

  • Experience in managing indirect teams to achieve common goals.

  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Experience with Forecasting and Account Planning in a Sales organization a plus.

  • Experience with designing/aligning requirements for systems & tools a plus.

  • PMP Certification a plus.

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus.

  • Experience working with SQL, Tableau, O365, CRM, Google Suite, Forecasting tools and data sources

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  

The pay range for this role is $96,000 to $156,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
