Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS’s most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible with AWS Cloud. We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive awareness and adoption for our Professional Services portfolio.
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Professional Services, you will be responsible for the Professional Services portfolio and tasked with developing messaging and positioning which highlights how Professional Services offerings provide customers with expert guidance and packaged solutions to accelerate business transformation. You will define the product marketing strategy for the portfolio, and work with product management to deliver a seamless user experience. You will develop a deep understanding of our customers – who are they, how they buy, and why they buy. You will use customer insights to develop positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audiences. You will work with product and sales teams to creating compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions, as well as support marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and service adoption. You will collaborate with product, sales, marketing, and launch management to develop and execute marketing plans that grow the business. You will partner with go-to-market and enablement teams to articulate the value of our solutions to prospects and existing customers. To be successful in this role, you have demonstrated B2B experience in driving results for a product portfolio, are passionate about technology development and launches, and obsess over the customer experience. You are unafraid to build from scratch, comfortable with ambiguity in a changing environment, and overcome obstacles to deliver results. You seek data to prove what’s working and what isn’t. This is a visible position that will interact at all levels of the company. You will be joining a highly collaborative team focused on delivering significant impact for Global Services.
This role can sit in either Seattle, WA USA or Santa Clara, CA USA only. Relocation offered for these locations only within the USA only.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive understanding of Professional Services portfolio messaging and positioning for AWS.
• Conduct customer research to inform marketing deliverables and influence the product roadmap.
• Identify the target audience, buyer personas, and buyer journeys for the portfolio.
• Collaborate with product teams to distill features and benefits of major launches into positioning and messaging.
• Develop audience-specific messaging, marketing content, and go-to-market materials (presentations, whitepapers, infographics, customer stories, product videos, webpages, and more)
• Develop and execute on innovative product marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively.
• Partner with other marketing teams (e.g., campaigns, demand generation, field, and event marketing) to develop marketing launch strategies and focused marketing programs that drive product adoption and usage.
• Work effectively across AWS with groups such as product, product marketing, sales, business development, enablement, and digital marketing to achieve joint business goals.
• Define business metrics, measurement plan, and continuously measure and optimize your product marketing initiatives.

The Global Services product marketing team works on creating compelling positioning, messaging, and content to support launches and campaigns that drive awareness, preference, and adoption of people services and technology. We all have a bias for action for developing awesome marketing assets (e.g., messaging, success stories, blogs, presentations, videos, collateral, enablement resources). We all work together and pick each other up when workloads shift. This helps us manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high-quality deliverables. Basic Qualifications
7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
Experience communicating results to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
Experience with Professional Services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
