Job Description:

Legence is a People business. The Director of Talent Acquisition will help shape the future of the organization by leading a dynamic team that identifies, attracts and hires the best talent in the industry. As a key leader on the HR team, you will partner with HR and business leaders to strategize hiring practices that allow us to act at scale yet deliver with the speed and nimbleness of an entrepreneur.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units and functions

  • Lead and develop the talent acquisition team to grow expertise in their current roles and grow each team member and help ensure they have fulfilling careers

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across Talent Acquisition and identify the appropriate metrics to monitor and measure success

  • Harmonize current university hiring and campus recruitment strategy to attract and hire top emerging talent and energize our intern and co-op programs

  • Implement innovative and efficient strategies for attracting and acquiring top talent from diverse sources

  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to hiring and recruiting

  • Partner with Marketing, HR and business leaders to develop employment branding and marketing strategies

  • Maximize partnerships with recruitment agencies and vendors

  • Support future Mergers and Acquisition integration of new business leaders, team members and best practices

  • Develop and implement appropriate hiring manager training

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, is required

  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a Shared Service or Center of Excellence HR service model

  • Ability to travel as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of industry experience in Construction, Engineering Design or Consulting organizations

  • Proven experience hiring a high volume in university and campus recruitment annually

  • Proven track record of leading and developing a talent acquisition team

  • Strong knowledge of technology and tools used in recruitment and how to leverage data for reporting

  • Experience with multiple applicant tracking systems is a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment with the humility to listen to others

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
