We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer with expertise in testing of Electrical, mechanical & thermal test designs to join our module development group! On this team, we develop and direct test processes within the Module Design Group! Your responsibility will be to own all aspects of hardware design validation and manage the execution at remote sites!

Responsibilities:

  • Own the module design validation process, collaborating with multi-functional teams including electrical, mechanical and firmware engineers.

  • Define the validation processes for board level, mechanical, second source and complete module level testing.

  • Implement hands on testing to validate new processes and documentation.

  • Provide DFT input throughout the design process and review final design implementation.

  • Define resource requirements for remote sites, including personnel and equipment.

  • Travel to remote sites to bring up test equipment and provide training when required.

  • Participate in team meetings to present testing status and discuss/resolve test-related challenges.

  • Provide HW test recommendations to teams for longer term/wider population testing such as DVT and RDT

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, encouraging a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering and or mechanical engineering.

  • 10+ Years of proven meaningful experience.

  • Proficiency in schematic design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD) and PCB layout tools (e.g., Allegro, PADS).

  • In-depth knowledge of board-level, mechanical and thermal design principles.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IPC standards, EMC/EMI compliance, and safety certifications.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve sophisticated hardware issues.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to work effectively in multi-functional teams.

  • A track record of product release involvement from a validation and test standpoint.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$139,000.00 - $283,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
