Work you'll do

As an OTT Insurance Transformation Manager, you will bring industry expertise and project leadership capabilities to deliver effective solutions to clients. Other position responsibilities include;

  • Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Own responsibility for the quality of deliverables, managing stakeholder relationships and developing persuasive recommendations.

  • Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies.

  • Manage teams in understanding business strategy to develop functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.

  • Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.

  • Lead smaller engagements or components of large, complex strategy and/or operations transformation engagements.

  • Translate strategy into optimized designs, and identify design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance and operations.

  • Communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.

    Qualifications

    Required

  • 6 years strategy and/or operations transformation experience at a consulting firm or relevant industry experience

  • 6 years of experience working in one of the following Insurance sub service areas: Insurance Products, Underwriting, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration or Distribution

  • 6 years of experience managing across a variety of large business transformation efforts and program team through all phases of the program lifecycle from scoping and planning, assessment, detailed design and program execution (preferably multi-year)

  • 6 years demonstrated experience in logical structuring, storyboarding and presentation development using PowerPoint

  • 6 years of operating model, expense reduction and strategy engagement experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

    Preferred

  • MBA or Advanced Degree in area of specialization

  • CPCU, AIC, ARM Certification

  • 6 years working in a collaborative, team-based environment, leading multiple workstreams, to solve business challenges and drive change in large organizations

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,800 to $253,000.
