A Brief Overview

This position is responsible for the performance of all actions and functions pertaining to access control system’s maintenance, documentation, and coordination of access control services, directed by regulatory compliance. Coordinate security maintenance services with providers for the proper care of security systems, and equipment to maintain the sustainability of operations for all responsible areas and buildings of FirstBank (FB). Coordinate the schedule of periodical safety inspections of departments and branches for FB and subsidiaries to assure the compliance with security measurements and the institutions standards

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Develops, implements and reviews access control technology for the protection of Bank’s personnel, assets, and information.

  • Conducts system testing of entrance and exit to Bank’s facility to ensure security access control systems are operational, and in compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

  • Assists in the coordination of Bank’s security non-capital projects equipment purchase as well as the implementation of required services for the proper operation and sustainability of current or new security access control systems for the business.

  • Responds through service suppliers’ coordination for emergency repairs of access control hardware and software of critical programing failure,

  • Completes the review and updates of Access Control policies and procedures in accordance with institution’s policies and guidelines. Develops new access control guidelines and instructions, as required. Schedules periodical reviews of departments’ access control data to assure compliance with physical security access control parameters and regulatory institutions standards.

  • Providesrecommendations on audit findings and deviations.

  • Coordinates all maintenance services required for the proper operation and sustainability of existent or new physical security equipment for Bank’s departments, branches and subsidiaries.

  • Files and maintains operational documentation such as inspections reports related to Access Control and maintenance services documentation such as; Logs, Registers, deletion of ID badges for employment termination, perform corrective actions as per audit and inspections findings.

  • Prepares monthly statistics reports of services to customers, access control security systems review, and deviation of security systems as well as safety events and inspections.

  • Work in close relationship with the HR department and Security Investigators to provide required access control data for internal investigations.

  • Maintains Key Control inventory and monitors the Key Control program.

  • Track down the status of Security Inspections and its documentation for all FirstBank and MOEX Branches.

  • Provides as required access control for special activities and internal/external consultants.

  • Handles requisitions for departments purchases and assists in the coordination of bank’s security non-capital and capital projects equipment purchase as well as coordination for emergency repairs of access control hardware, software of critical programing failure.

  • Supports the Corporate Security Manager with the coordination of business continuity drills and exercises as well as response to crisis incidents either man made or any unavoidable natural catastrophe.

    What You’ll Need

    A Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in safety and physical security is required for this job. Preferred knowledge of Access Control Software, Windows base environment, Legal areas, Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification preferred but not required.

    · Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
