FirstBank Puerto Rico IT OPERATIONS SUPPORT ANALYST in San Juan, Puerto Rico

A Brief Overview The IT Operations Support Analyst is responsible for all functions related to the development/implementation, and administration of systems and projects in the IT Operations Department. Understand, manage and support the infrastructure, applications and tools that support the operation that IT operation, allowing the bank to provide products and services to its customers base. Also develops the necessary reports for a sound business operation, and serves as liaison between the business groups and IT Service Providers to provide technical solutions to meet the user and business needs.What You’ll Need to Succeed · Understand and follow IT and Operational policies and procedures.· Coordinate and implement IT projects.· Analyzes, recommends, and develops reports generated for the different administrative needs including business score cards and decision-making reports for top management and various bank departments.· Designs and develops Dashboards for the distribution of departments Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) reports.· Develop and administer the systems, as necessary or requested by the different business areas.· Use different applications and programming tools to manage and extract data from databases to produce business analytical reports.· Actively participates in the requirements gathering, design, development, testing and implementation of solutions for the automation of all age processes.· As per knowledge of programming languages, may use SQL to create scripts for the development of reports and data visualizations. · Construct and produce files for different processes, such as interfaces, reports and charts aimed to support providers and clients.What You’ll Need A Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or related field is required for this position. Or the equivalent combination of Education and Experience needed to be able to perform the functions of this job The incumbent must have from three to five years of experience in a related job. This position requires experience in administration of technology projects, interacting with external and internal resources. Financial institution experience, desirable.· Knowledge of IT operations· Understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Information Technology Service Management Forum (ITSMF)· Programming skills· Knowledge of Information technology Systems/Applications within the Banking industry.· Analytical skills· Basic Project Management skills· Knowledge in SQL is preferred.· Ability to write, speak and comprehend English and Spanish· Good Interpersonal communication skills
