As a Sr. Data Engineer you will be responsible for the management and manipulation of data, conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends, with a focus on building data and AI tools, managing data security and assuring data quality. Depending on the specific role and business line, you will be responsible for creating specifications to bring data into a common structure, creating product specifications and models, developing data solutions to support analyses, performing analysis, interpreting results, developing actionable insights and presenting recommendations for use across the company. You will be responsible for partnering up with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids and business case analysis to support the organization. Other roles involved could include producing and managing the delivery of activity and value analytics to stakeholders and clients. Team member in this role will typically use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis and interpret data. Positions in this function work on predominately descriptive and regression-based analytics and tend to leverage subject matter expert views in the design of their analytics and algorithms.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • This position will work directly with multiple levels of the business stakeholders to develop advanced data analytics / AI solutions. - This position provides data, analytical, and product development capabilities leveraging data from different functionals areas, healthcare subdomains and technology platforms

  • Assess and interpret customer's analysis needs and requirements.

  • Identify solutions to non-standard analytics requests and problems

  • Solve moderately complex data problems and/or conduct moderately complex data analyses

  • Work in a matrix environment by partnering with other partners to deliver data and reporting needs to support the expansion of the platform

  • Work with an Agile framework within a matrix environment working in sprints and utilizing agile tools as needed

  • Build, maintain and/or adhere to a structured data governance process to be used across all datasets with a focus on quality and accuracy

  • Identify and participate in the resolution of data integrity issues

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Cloud, Azure and ETL experience

  • 3+ years of SQL development experience

  • 3+ years of experience relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse

  • 3+ years of experience using business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis and interpret data

  • 2+ years of experience providing descriptive and regression-based analytics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake

  • Experience/knowledge of healthcare domain
