Job Description:
As PICS Engineer (Process Instrumentation and Control engineer) will play a key role for
Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field of study.
Minimum of 5 years of experience programming industrial control systems.
Proven expertise in PLC programming (Rockwell), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
Minimum of 5 years of experience of electrical installations.
Familiarity with a variety of industrial controls and applications.
Familiarity with robots and vision systems
Experience of failure mode analysis
Experience in Rockwell Studio 5000
The impact you will make in this role
Project management (as a leader or team member) of small, medium large projects
Coordinate Design, test, and install electrical control panels in industrial or manufacturing settings.
Coordinate / Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, drives servos and SCADA systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
Manage technical projects related to industrial automation and other type of project.
Manage cost estimation, problem solving, stakeholder, commissioning and startup of control systems and project scope definition,
Manage multiple projects at the same time
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience with web handling and lamination (tapes, fibers etc).
Experience in tension control
Experience in pneumatic and hydraulic
Advanced English
