What is the job about?

As an IS Onsite Engineer at Grundfos, your primary responsibility will be providing IS onsite services to a various location, specifically sales offices with less than 100 employees. Your responsibilities will include supporting IS applications and services and performing hardware asset management lifecycle services in the local company. Additionally, you'll be expected to participate in IS projects, such as infrastructure lifecycle changes and IT security projects. As an IS Onsite Engineer, you'll be a crucial contributor to the growth of the company by ensuring that all employees have the tools they need to perform their jobs effectively.

This position will report directly to the IS Supervisor and will operate daily out of the San Luis Potosi, MX facility. Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported, and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Mexico without support.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Planning and maintaining Hardware Asset Management Lifecycle services at local company e.g., PC's, Tablets, Monitors, standard meeting room equipment, Phones, Printers etc.

  • Order/Purchasing standard IT equipment

  • Local responsible for IT Processes, Services, Infrastructure Equipment and possible local IT Contracts e.g., Phone Subscriptions

  • Providing VIP and IS Partner support locally

  • Supporting standard IS applications/services and ensures Service availability

  • Act as the prolonged arm for global IS colleagues at local company

  • Performing IS trainings/knowledge transfer for Business Colleagues locally

  • Promoting IT Security Culture locally

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Engineering

  • Fluent in English

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position providing IS support onsite

  • Great organizational skills

  • Experience in repairing electronic devices, control panels, switches and others
