Job Description

The Admin III will assist the Center for Professional Sales and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The position will handle logistical coordination for both centers’ initiatives—tasks that are critical for maintaining smooth operations and upholding a professional image. Additionally, this role will support the supervision and training of Graduate and Teaching Assistants and oversee daily administrative functions to further amplify the centers’ impact and visibility.

Job Duties

Coordination of events:Coordinate and assist in the execution of events such as Interview Express, Ignite, workshops, corporate partner visits, including setup, scheduling, and any on-site needs during the event. This would include finding a place to host the activity, choosing vendors, printing flyers, etc.

HR Duties:Create new positions, post jobs, interview student workers and GA candidates, assist with hiring paperwork, orientation, initiate PCRs and being time administrator for student worker team.

Purchasing:Purchase office supplies and other supplies, pay vendors, create purchase orders, create reimbursements. Manage p-card purchases by creating logs, reconciling and getting logs signed. Create vendor set-up, vendor contracts.

Travel Assistant:Create travel requests for directors and student groups, complete expense reports and assist with travel plans.

Budget coordination:Oversee accounts in SAP , provide directors with balances when needed, send Corporate Partners invoices for yearly dues. Track student worker pay.

Misc. Administrative Duties:Handle routine administrative tasks to support the center’s operations, including managing schedules, handling correspondence, and coordinating meetings.
