BeiGene Eastern Senior Manager, Commercial Learning and Development - Hematology Field Training in San Mateo, California

General Description:

The Senior Manager, Commercial Learning & Development (CLD) Hematology Field Training for the Eastern Division of the United States will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs for the Hematology sales team. This role focuses on enhancing the skills and knowledge of field teams through new hire training, field rides, coaching, and special training initiatives that meet the dynamic needs of the business. Additional responsibilities of this role are dependent on business and departmental needs.

The successful candidate will live in in the Eastern Half of the United States.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Delivers innovative training programs that prepares BeiGene’s field sales teams and the larger Commercial organization for long-term success in the hematology marketplace.

  • Delivers world-class training for new hires and tenured representatives throughout the calendar year including Initial Sales Training, Division Meetings, Regional Sales Meetings, Launch Meetings and National Meetings.

  • Develop and deliver special training initiatives in response to emerging business needs and opportunities.

  • Conducts field rides with new and existing representatives for real-time pull-through of training initiatives, assists in coaching to requisite knowledge or skillsets and evaluates additional training needs in conjunction with CLD.

  • Partners with Marketing, Market Access, IT, Commercial Operations and Sales leadership as a performance consultant to determine training needs.

  • Develops training programs that are based on quantitative and qualitative marketplace, customer, and employee insights.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • MBA, Master’s, PharmD, Advanced Practice Provider and/or Training Certifications preferred.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree with 7+ years of overall experience or an MA/MS/MBA with 5+ years of overall experience or a PharmD/PhD with 3+ years of overall experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in hematology sales or training demonstrating success in the following:

  • Strong facilitation skills and understanding of adult learning principles to engage adult learners.

  • Experience in selling and training oncology/hematology sales teams with a large degree of account management and cross functional collaboration.

  • Ability to deliver end-to-end training and onboarding for Commercial new hires.

  • Ability to translate clinical concepts with marketing message to execute learning curricula.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Active membership in LTEN and/or ATD.

  • Certification in training capabilities, including but not limited to: project management, facilitation, adult learning, instructional design, virtual training, change management, performance consulting, sales consulting, training technologies etc.

Travel:

  • 50% consisting of delivering field training initiatives, field rides, and meeting attendance.

Computer Skills:

  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
