Description We are offering a contract for a Staff Accountant position in San Ramon, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately maintain financial transactions in the general ledger

• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet accounts

• Provide support in processing invoices, payments, and collections

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the creation of journal entries and account reconciliations

• Provide necessary documentation and information for internal and external audits

• Adhere to company policies and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

• Input financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records

• Carry out ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed Requirements

• Proficient in conducting Bank Reconciliations

• Competency in performing Month End Close activities

• Familiarity with using Concur software for expense management
