Director, IT Network Operations
Under supervision of the Vice President of Technical Operations, the NOC Director is responsible for the day-to-day operational staff providing 1st or 2nd level specialized support on a 7 by 24-hour basis. Guides and instructs personnel in proactively identifying fault conditions and resolving level 1 and 2 problems and decreasing overall MTTR. The NOC Director keeps upper management informed about all outages and impairments, which have an impact on Conduent’s customer base. The NOC Director analyzes current monitoring systems and develops appropriate strategies for strengthening areas in need of improvement. Develops processes and procedures for the NOC staff to ensure committed SLA's are met. Reviews, develops or modifies processes and policies in support of new and existing product and/or technology. The NOC Director will ensure communication to all internal support organizations. The NOC Director will plan, implement, and maintains staff development curriculum as it relates to NOC roles and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Pro-actively identify and resolve Level 1 and 2 defects and timely escalate all other technical defects to the appropriate departments.
Ensure timely and accurate escalations for outages to the appropriate responsible department.
Manage outage calls by redirecting the team's focus towards a timely resolution as needed.
Ensure appropriate capacity planning to maintain acceptable available capacity withing the network.
Conduct outage/impairment postmortems and works with functional groups as necessary to create recommendations report.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis reviews for the purpose of developing or improving upon current operational procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science discipline preferred or equivalent industry certifications
10+ years in network management/administration roles
Functional management of highly technical teams
System Administrator Expertise in Wide Area Networking and Local Area Networking
Experience with multiple vendors including Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, VMWare, Solarwinds

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $150,000- $165,000.
