Liberty Latin America Operation and Maintenance Senior Manager in Santa Ana, Costa Rica

What´s the role?

Responsible for leading the operational aspects and maintenance of the fixed and mobile network including all layers and Change Management process to all technical areas.

Provides leadership and effective coordination of activities to achieve fulfillment KPI and SLA compliance with internal customers and external providers.

How you will add value?

Field Line Maintenance.

Local Operations (Fixed/Mobile).

NOC Supervision.

Perform Tier 2 Operations (e.g.TV Network, Broadband & OSS).

Perform Tier 2 assurance support and incident management.

Fixed & Mobile Network OAM (domestic, mobile, LDI, Roaming) on every layer access, transport, video, core & value-added platforms.

Local regulator / government KPI reports & compliance.

Coordinate Y-Y Budget overall needs with central teams.

Drive network proactive & corrective maintenance.

Monitoring of KPIs for all services: Voice, Data and TV.

Service outage SLA checks.

Fiber Network Management (repairs, maintenance, Fiber strand documentation).

Power supply maintenance & repair.

Responsible for keeping a log and orchestrating work orders and maintenance on the technical nodes so that there are no work conflicts.

Responsible for ensuring that after each work window there are no service disruptions or alarms with the NOC.

They guarantee that those responsible for executing the work have carried out the test matrices with the user areas.

Job efficiency KPIs.

Acceptance to new site builds, Carrier additions, growth & DC power plants upgrade.

Access to site management.

What do you need?

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronic or related Engineering.

Master degree in telecommunications is desirable.

9 years of experience in Network Operation and Maintenance area in management positions.

9 years of experience working in the telecommunications industry in customer service management.

Proficiency in english.

Proficiency in Office 365

To perform the job efficiently must demonstrate the following competencies: analytical thinking, problem solving, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills, project management, decision making, change management, quality management, critical thinking , ability to understand and communicate complex issues clearly and accurately, strong leadership skills.

What do you need?
