Position Summary: The Machine Shop Helper will assist with different jobs in the shop to help keep the flow of work going. A positive attitude and willingness to help will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and a collaborative work atmosphere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders
- Deburring machined metal products
- Adjust, maintain, and repair tools, equipment, and machines, and assist more skilled workers with similar tasks
- Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Maintain required records and documentation
- Effectively handle various objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Follow company operating procedures, safety rules and practices
- Any additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day
- Ability to do repetitive work
- US Citizen or permanent resident
Preferred:
- Mechanically inclined and knowledge of tools

Salary range: $20-$22 per hour - several factors are considered when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
