Sonatech, LLC Mechanical Assembler in Santa Barbara, California
Mechanical Assembler Under general supervision, the Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of product components and parts. Responsibilities include:
- Construct and assemble electro-mechanical products utilizing a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Prepare and assemble components to specifications.
- Perform tasks including installing circuit boards, power supplies, face plates, product labels, cables and wire harness using screws and adhesives.
- Perform in-line inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Read and follow reporting documentation/information.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must:
- Capable of reading drawings, wiring diagrams, parts lists/BOMS etc.
- Effectively handle various objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- US Citizen or permanent resident.
- Previous experience as an Assembler/Technician is preferred.
