Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class product management organization and continues to look for top-notch product management talent to expand the team. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in AI/ML, LLMs, and Generative AI technology to join our team. As the Principal Product Manager for Prisma SASE, at Palo Alto Networks, you will leverage advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to enhance, automate, and optimize IT operations processes for Prisma SASE customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, create product roadmaps, and manage product development from conception to launch. You will have complete ownership of our SASE AIOps product portfolio and will continue to drive innovation to reduce mean time to detection and remediation for SASE customers. You will work very closely with the product managers within the direct team as well as those throughout the organization to maintain our position as the market leader.
To be successful in this position you must possess a combination of strong technical skills, and analytical skills, as well as a passion for driving enterprise networking & security while bridging customer business requirements with key market trends. You must be comfortable with frequent interaction with customers, prospects, and industry analysts presenting our solution and explaining our security solution while understanding and articulating their requirements. You have a track record of success in leading focused, tightly-knit product teams, have delivered on product commitments in working closely with engineering leadership, and have successfully developed and articulated your vision, product strategy, and product plans to the company’s leadership.
Your Impact
Own the product area of AIOps to build a world-class detection and remediation framework for User Experience, Application Monitoring, and Observability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, design, and marketing to deliver high-quality products on time
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences
Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals
Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders and leadership team
A passion for the customer journey, user experience, usability, and a knack for simplicity are critical in this role
Your Experience
BS/MS or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required
Strong desire to take ownership of the full product lifecycle
6+ years in product management with a strong networking domain background and understanding of AI/ML, LLM concepts and technologies, such as natural language understanding, sentiment analysis, and topic modeling
Strong focus on end-user experience and data visualization tools and technologies.
Experience building data-rich products, incorporating data visualizations
Deliver high-quality work in an agile, fast-paced environment
Track record creating products from concept to market success.
Very strong (written and verbal) communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills leading and contributing to cross-functional teams
The Team

This team provides the behind-the-scenes support for our products by being a source of information for our systems engineers, staying on top of the environment we sell in, and helping to implement technical solutions based on our client’s feedback and needs. As threats and technology evolve, we stay ahead to accomplish our mission.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $166000 - $268500/YR.
