Nvidia Senior Event Operation Manager in Santa Clara, California

What you’ll be doing:
Conference Operations and Sales support Managing decorators, vendors, F&B, Internet, electrical and AV vendors. Working with internal and external stakeholders for their presence. Working with Sponsors on their presence, invoicing, revenue forecast and more.
Meeting room management for sponsors
Responsible for identifying, planning and executing a variety of event-based programs with conferences and Summits that NVIDIA hosts.
Define event goals, strategies, and ROI measurement criteria and drive planning meetings with stakeholders and virtual teams from start to finish.
Work closely with cross functional teams such as creative services for all event deliverables including signage, demo and collateral development and IT/demo owners to track demo equipment needs and inventory to prepare the booth and event layouts, service requirements and shipping logistics.
Establish and monitor event budget, negotiate fees and pricing. Coordinate logistics including shipping to and from events, onsite set up and tear down, hotel rooming lists, meeting schedules, staffing schedules and training meetings, pre and post-show satisfaction surveys and reports.
Manage third party vendors such as exhibit house, production company, A/V providers, etc.
What we need to see:
Creative and dedicated individual with 8+ years of corporate event marketing, and tradeshows experience, preferably in the PC, high tech or gaming industry
Ability to multi-task, be detailed oriented and extremely organized while meeting tight deadlines under pressure and driving teams
Able to work independently and follow process with minimal direction
Must be available to travel for week-long periods about four-five times per year and stand/walk for long periods of time and lift heavy boxes (30+ lbs)
BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Demonstrated success in managing Conference operations and tradeshow exhibits
Product launch and user group planning experience involving elaborate A/V and stage sets
Marketing-minded, not just project-minded
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

The base salary range is 112,000 USD - 230,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
