Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Senior Finance Manager, Central FP&A. We're looking for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of finance, and a passion for driving cross-functional initiatives. This role will play a pivotal part in overseeing FP&A activities across various business finance teams and spearheading projects that enhance our overall financial planning and analysis processes.
Your Impact
Lead and execute ad hoc projects that benefit the broader FP&A organization, such as defining and gaining alignment around bookings policies/ systems/ processes and increasing effectiveness of our finance offshore operations
Collaborate with business finance teams, Corp FP&A, Accounting, and IT to drive FP&A process improvements, simplification, and standardization, ensuring consistent methodologies and best practices
Promote the adoption of uniform key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting across the organization, with a focus on driving initiatives that increase ARR and profitability
Assist in business planning process and annual financial planning efforts
Manage day-to-day oversight of R&D opex and HC consolidation across multiple teams
Lead efforts to optimize financial performance through strategic financial analysis, data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership
Your Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or related field - MBA preferred or equivalent military experience required
10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with a strong background in central, R&D, sales or corporate finance roles
A high degree of intelligence, natural curiosity, and a strong work ethic - Healthy impatience for change
Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing large-scale finance projects
In-depth knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and analysis methodologies
Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with SaaS business models
Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across various levels of the organization
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools (e.g., SAP, SAC, Tableau, Pigment, and other BI Tools)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while delivering high quality results
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a distilled manner

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $151000 - $244000/YR.
