Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a HIM Specialist in the healthcare industry, based in Santa Maria, California. The HIM Specialist role is integral to our administrative team, focusing on managing medical records, and addressing customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Medical record management
• Updating patient files
• Utilizing EMR systems
Requirements • Proficiency in using video conferencing and video editing tools
• Familiarity with HealthCare.gov, its features, and functionalities
• Proficient in R Code with the ability to write, troubleshoot, and maintain scripts
• Experience or understanding of offshore operations and protocols
• Knowledge of TRICARE health program, including its policies and procedures
• Familiarity with Network Information System (NIS) and its applications in an enterprise environment
