Oracle Senior Technical Lead in SANTIAGO, Chile

Job Description

As a Senior Principal Advanced Support Engineer, you are expected to be an expert member of the project team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues. Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management. Further, the Senior Principal Advanced Support Engineer is expected to be a point of contact for customers and lead Oracle employees when in need of expert technical advice.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Orchestrate engineers and remote teams when working through incidents on mission critical environments.

  • Collaborating with customer and Oracle teams on planning technical activities.

  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of solutions, changes and providing recommendations.

  • Conducting peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

  • Lead communications with C-Level customer and Oracle stakeholders.

You will work closely with customers and Oracle, technical and management teams, to ensure that our engineering efforts are aligned. This position requires an excellent problem-solving and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading engineering teams.

  • Strong knowledge of development and infrastructure methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Programming Languages, Database, Middleware or Cloud.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical non-technical teams.

  • English and spanish fluency is required.

  • Experience with PMI/Agile/Scrum is a plus.

  • A Computer Science or similar Master*s degree is desirable.
