• This position is part of the International Co-brand Team within the Commercial Division.

• Responsible for growing American Airlines International Co-brand revenue by designing marketing strategies to acquire new co-brand credit cardmembers and/or increase engagement of existing customers across multiple countries.

• Focused on developing and managing loyalty partnerships with financial institutions and other third-party companies.

• Researches and analyzes industry trends, competitive landscape, historical trends and customer behavior to develop models that help identify opportunities to drive market share and revenue growth.

• Develops relationships and is the key contact for partner account managers.

• Conducts performance analysis including effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) of co-brand marketing campaigns and initiatives to gauge the health of the business.

• Collaborates with issuer, network, agency, and internal stakeholders to develop and execute acquisition and/or retention campaigns throughout the year.

• Creates, revises, and analyzes complex contracts and proposals to ensure maximizing value for American and our partners.

• Negotiate commercial terms with financial institution partners in Mexico, Latin America, and Caribbean.

• Develops reports and presentations that help align key stakeholders and conduct negotiations with bank partners and payment networks.

• Collaborates with cross-functional working groups and business teams to execute co-brand initiatives.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.

• 3 years of sales, marketing, or project management experience.

• 2 years of relationship management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

• Ability and willingness to travel internationally.

• Fluently read, write, and speak in English.

• Hybrid in-office and remote location position.

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Sales and marketing, travel industry, personal credit cards experience.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Customer focused with strong analytical aptitude and experience.

• Innovative problem solver who can take an ambiguous idea from conception through execution in a global, diverse, and fast paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills including leadership, collaboration, negotiation, consensus-building, and cultural awareness.
