Job Description Summary

Operations Finance Lead will be a World-class Business partner to Region leadership driving optimal business performance since offer phase until final execution for set of strategic, big and complex projects. Will also be responsible for Supply Chain Finance for a manufacturing unit partnering with Plant Manager to push for better operation performance.

Essential Responsibilities

Project scope

  • Partner with Commercial and Tendering team to structure better offers in terms of pricing, risk control, margins and deals terms and conditions.

  • Work with project management team to ensure as sold margin are executed until project completion.

  • Lead complex and strategic projects and manage project portfolio ensuring margin control, risk mitigation and project accuracy.

  • Coordinate and strengthen project finance processes across region, promoting best operational visibility.

  • Ensure strong controllership, financial instructions and polices are implemented for project portfolio.

  • Promote accuracy, consistency and purity for project financial reports (actual and forecasting). Ensure P&L and Balance sheet for project financials are properly performed.

  • Seek for standardization, simplification and automatization with a Lean mindset.

  • Coordinate accounting analysis & reconciliation, estimates, pacing, and closing activities with the objective to drive strategic business decisions.

Factory scope

  • Standardize processes within the units, lean close process by eliminating ‘waste’. Guarantee the right usage of SAP, in alignment with BL standard guidelines.

  • Fully accountable for site Income statement, balance sheet and free cash flow statement.

  • Ensure financial measurement and reporting system at site level are accurate providing management with appropriate information.

  • Work as a Business Partner with Operations to develop and drive cost out and working capital reduction programs to improve margins, working capital turns, including receivables and payables management, inventory reduction.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration or Finance related areas.

  • 8 years experience in Operations Finance within an industrial organization.

  • High proficiency in SAP on Projects and Manufacturing modules.

  • Lean mindset.

  • Established analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills in a matrix organization.

  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues.

  • Fluent in Portuguese, English and desirable Spanish.
