We are looking for a payroll specialist who wants to do a complex role, to take the payroll experience to another level and help build our rapidly growing company.

We are encouraged and driven to improve processes and look for better solutions every day. Amazon seeks a Payroll Specialist to join the team in a fast paced environment to insure accurate timely results for employees in BRA.

Sounds great? What will you be working on?

  • As team: support payroll processing for more than 5.000 employees in Brazil and help the team with complex payroll queries and escalations

  • Collaborate with payroll leaders to maintain an efficient and effective audit process

  • Collaborate in efforts to evaluate and redesign Payroll processes to align with the company’s rapid growth and commitment to quality

  • Be a subject matter expert in projects to drive payroll improvements for Brazil

  • Be a partner for M&A and expansions projects

  • Liaison with HR, Tech teams, Finance, Accounting, and others to ensure that best practices are followed and implemented

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Sao Paulo, SP, BRA

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Law or related field

  • Experience in payroll processing for Brazil

  • Fluent English

  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookup and other formulas)

  • Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep Knowledge in labor legislation and specific payroll regulations (eSocial, DCTFWEB, FGTS digital)

  • Familiar with payroll software (Peoplesoft, Sharepoint, SAP and T&A systems)

  • Experience with process transitions
