Account Representative Internship – Summer 2024

Home-based Brazil, Hybrid - Sau Paulo, Brazil

Position Summary:

Bentley Systems invites talented individuals to join our high-performance team of Account Representatives for this intern position. Account Representatives help our Account Managers manage their opportunities, quotes, and orders for their targeted accounts. This is a sales role, supporting existing accounts with Bentley software products, services, training, and cloud offerings that help our Users achieve their desired business outcomes. You will Account Management skills and techniques by helping Account Managers to develop and win business opportunities in an assigned territory. Successful Account Representatives will thrive in a fast-paced environment, are self-motivated and will ideally have experience of inside sales.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Provide Sales Support and Service to assigned accounts.

  • Assist with opportunity and quote creation, and other Salesforce sales administration.

  • Facilitate and triage internal legal case site, deal desk, and proposal requests.

  • Help key accounts with progress and communication of stalled service tickets.

  • Qualify and close transactional inbound and usage-based opportunities.

  • Work with the Account Manager to take the lead role with specific subset of assigned accounts.

  • Maintain a high knowledge of Bentley’s current commercial programs, offerings, and products.

  • Learn and adhere to the Bentley Sales Process while using Salesforce as the sales reporting system.

  • Hand off specific product related leads and opportunities to the appropriate Product Sales colleague.

  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure any issues or upcoming dates are being monitored and addressed.

  • Support and facilitate subscription renewals of key accounts, working closely with the Subscription Renewals team and the AM.

  • Lead CSS replenishments that are not auto invoiced.

  • Run business intelligence reports for AM’s and form observations and conclusions that advance deals, renewals, and strategies.

  • Onboarding new accounts:

  • Bentley Events awareness

  • Bentley Training awareness

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Good communications skills, appetite to learn and to further develop your skills to become an Account Manager in the future. Good Customer Service, with a flair for communicating with accounts and maximizing the account’s outcomes and Bentley’s revenue.

  • A pleasant non-intrusive manner, positive attitude, eye for detail, resourceful and inquisitive.

  • Self-starter, driven and accountable.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate activities.

  • Excellent English language and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information to users and prospects via phone and web.

  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general business applications is required.

  • Excellent cross-collaboration skills with various internal departments.

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in business or business administration or equivalent.
