Follow all Safety precautions, Food Safety requirements, GMP’s and Plant rules to prevent injury to self or others and to prevent loss of material or damage to equipment.
Follow and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain good housekeeping and 5S.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to high cavitation, close tolerance molds with precision and efficiency.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic issues with molds and accessory equipment.
Clean and mold conversions as scheduled.
Inspect molds for premature damage or deterioration and alert proper personnel of any issues.
Repair and maintain controllers and hot runner systems.
Implement mold upgrades and retrofits.
Maintain daily service records in JDE.
Interpret and understand mechanical blueprints.
Utilize lathe, milling machines, surface grinder and other machine shop equipment when needed.
Perform precision measurements with equipment such as: micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers, internal bore gages.
Must be able to navigate, maintain, and schedule all WOs in JDE.
Must be able to maintain the Blue Wave and test liquids for PH level weekly.
Assist in training as needed.
Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, lifting and frequent walking in a fast paced environment.
Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.
Capable of maintaining an attendance record within company guidelines.
Must be able to work overtime or alternate shifts when needed.
High school graduate with a minimum of five years previous experience in a plastic injection molding environment.
Read, write and speak English.
Past experience / proven ability within the specified disciplines.
Negative drug screen test results.
Must be team oriented
