BAE Systems Senior Network Administrator in Saratoga Springs, Utah
Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Network Administrator interested in supporting a Government Customer who specializes in (HPC) High Performance Computing. This position is located in Saratoga Springs Utah.
Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls (all three supported locations).
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
The Senior Network Administrator must possess the following skills and experience:
- Five (5) years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 10 without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection. Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
Must have skills to install, configure, and support the following:
Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS , ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols o Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite
Able to support on-call requirements
Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers
IAT Level II Certification Required
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- BS Degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115110 - $195660
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
