Westwood Professional Services, Inc.is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Land Development team in our St. Cloud, MN office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. Duties and Responsibilities Prepares preliminary analysis on a variety of technical tasks Project research, field work, observation and preliminary design calculations Take personal responsibility for quality of tasks performed Uses CAD to prepare and check working drawings, details, layouts and estimates Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data and work products Assist in the preparation of exhibits, plot plans, lot fits or other similar tasks by discipline Required Skills Demonstrates willingness to accept new challenges and learn specialized field Growing knowledge of profession as demonstrated by involvement in related professional organizations and professional development programs Basic knowledge of the firm's policies, practices and procedures Basic knowledge of software required for position Good organizational skills Able to follow general directions and work with limited independence on basic computations Required Experience Currently working towards completion of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering About Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
