Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworkers-Livestock to work in Sauk Centre, MN. From: 12/01/2024 - 03/31/2025 Work: 46 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day. Sat. 6 hrs/day. Hours: 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Must Apply By: 01/31/2025 JOB DUTIES: Feed and water livestock, maintain heated water system, inspect, maintain and repair equipment, Clean stalls, pens and equipment using disinfectant solutions using brushes, shovels, water hoses or pumps. Order food for animals and arrange for its delivery. Operate snow equipment in order to operate feed wagons. Provide medical treatment to animals, or arrange for Veterinarians to provide more extensive treatment. Drive into town for cattle supplies as needed. Overtime and taking holidays is mandatory. Wage may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 1 month of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employers' expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Work performed requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive sitting and walking, pushing and pulling, and frequent stooping and repetitive movements. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
