PDS Tech Commercial Inc is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Operations Trainee to join our team in Savannah, GA. Pay Rate: $19.29 per hour
Position Overview:
As an Operations Trainee, you will receive training in the manufacturing processes of aircraft. You will work in a team environment, assisting with fitting, drilling, and riveting operations using basic mechanic hand tools. This position is ideal for those with a strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
Structural Assembly: Perform fitting of detail parts and basic drilling and riveting operations using pneumatic drills, rivet guns, counter sinks, reamers, and files.
Quality Assurance: Ensure parts and work content meet the instructions of the assigned manufacturing employee and/or Quality Control Inspector.
Blueprint Reading: Learn to read work orders, blueprints, and specification sheets to determine sequence of operation and work requirements.
Alignment and Assembly: Align and assemble parts to be riveted using holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners.
Supervised Learning: Observe and assist experienced team members to become familiar with parts and assemblies, gradually working with decreasing supervision.
Additional Responsibilities:
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and housekeeping practices.
Computer Skills: Use computer-based software for various tasks.
Shift Availability: Be available to work any shift as needed.
Physical Ability: Lift and transport objects up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude.
Preferred: Enrollment in a Technical Aviation program is preferred.
Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Strong computer keyboard skills and basic math skills.

Pay Details: $19.29 per hour
