Job Title: Electrical Control Panel Assembler - Higher Level
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Electrical Control Panel Assembler to join our team. The role involves assembling control panels for industrial mixers, ranging in size from small to very large. The successful candidate will manage projects from start to finish, interpreting electrical wiring schematics, bills of material, and mechanical diagrams. Responsibilities include applying power up to 480VAC to systems, performing electrical point-to-point testing, making hole punches, labeling wires and components, and running wires through control panels. Each project must be completed within a specific timeframe.
Hard Skills
3-5 years of experience in mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of industrial electrical control panels
1-2 years of experience with complex components like variable frequency drives, PLCs, HMI, Purge systems
Soft Skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work under deadline pressures
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and diagrams
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Savannah, Georgia.
Work Environment
The work takes place in a temperature-controlled shop alongside 5-10 coworkers in the electrical department. The role requires sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, and extending reach for prolonged periods. The workspace is equipped with tall work chairs and tiltable tables to aid in task execution.
