DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary Duties & Responsibilities * The candidate will work with and do task for other engineers in the department. * The person will help with engineering projects for the coating department
Education & Experience 2 - 4 years of course work completed from an accredited university in an Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics-based field.
Skills * Strong organizational skills required. * Statistics and data analysis ability will be needed. * Programming experience a plus. * Ability to learn to use unfamiliar equipment quickly and accurately. * Inquisitive mind. * Forward thinker. * Team-oriented. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Good communication, both verbal and nonverbal.
Working Conditions * Office and clean room environment within manufacturing facility * Must be able to work with acids, radioactive materials and other toxic chemicals
Physical Requirements * Not physically demanding position. * Must be able to perform similar task as a coating operator
Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
