Introduction

To support our team, we are looking for an employee to start as soon as possible as Junior Project Coordinator for public funded projects in the area of Subsidies. GlobalFoundries applies for funding for projects in the field of research and development. As junior project coordinator for public funded projects, you will get the chance to grow into this role where you are responsible for the conception, application, coordination, implementation and monitoring of funded projects. You will work closely with the respective project managers in the specialist departments and colleagues from financial project controlling.

Your Job

  • Support in coordinating project applications in close consultation with internal and external partners and funding authorities.

  • Supporting project execution during the multi-year project period, including the organization of kick-off and status meetings.

  • Ongoing monitoring with regard to deviations from the plan.

  • Support project and grant compliance

  • Prepare and maintain audit-ready files as well as accompanying audits by the funding bodies.

    The focus of the position may also extend to other issues or subtasks in the area of project management, controlling and funding.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (industrial engineering, business administration, finance or similar).

  • We expect you to be confident in using MS Office applications (especially Excel and Word).

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Language Fluency: German and English (Written & Verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Self-motivated and independent with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in matrix role and build effective cross-functional relationships at multiple levels.
