Misumi USA Customer Data Specialist in Schaumburg, Illinois

ABOUT THE JOB:

Our Data Management team is seeking a Customer Data Specialist.   As a subject atter expert, you will support the Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, and Finance organizations by providing accurate, reliable, and qualified customer information. Your duties will include the following:

 

  • Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of various customer datasets, including Customer Master Data, ERP, CRM/SFA, and MA

  • Provide daily operational support to Salesforce CRM users

  • Evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness

  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure data integrity

  • Conduct data analysis using statistical tools.

  • Identify and correct data entry errors

  • Record completed data entry forms and requests as needed

  • Perform data management activities in compliance with customer, company, contractual, and regulatory requirements

  • Develop and implement process improvements for data management activities.

  • Present data management updates at internal meetings.

  • Address issues, questions, and problems accurately and promptly.

  • Serve as the point person for data-related tasks on assigned projects.

    WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

     

  • B.S. or B.A. in Business, Management Information Systems, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience with data management

  • Experience with Salesforce administration

  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions)

  • Experience manipulating large datasets using SQL

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Salesforce CRM Analytics) and techniques

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Works well in a high volume, transactional environment.

  • Must be flexible and open to learning multiple processes based on customer requirements.

  • Open to real time changes and successful in documenting, communicating, and adapting within small time windows.

  • Must demonstrate a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and leadership. Must be flexible, eager to learn and open to new ideas.
