What you will do:

  • The Weekend Track Relief Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of nursing care and staffing provided to the hospital's various rehabilitation specialty areas for the 7a-7:30pm shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a problem solver, planner, clinical and administrative resource, organizer, and liaison to the medical staff.

  • Areas of responsibility include orientation, personnel management; rehabilitation nursing techniques, staffing, clinical nursing skills, nursing process, in-service and continuing education, staff competencies, information technology and systems, resource allocation/ utilization, and environment.

  • Maintain clinical competence and plan patient care utilizing the nursing process, rehabilitation principles and standards, appropriate resources and the policies/procedures of Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital.

  • The Clinical Nurse Supervisor spends 50% of the time in direct staff supervision and 50% of the time in administrative duties

  • Schedule is EVERY Saturday&Sunday 12 hour shifts - 7a-7:30p

What you will need:

  • New York State RN License.

  • Associates Degree in Nursing. BSN Preferred

  • Minimum of 1+ years of RN Management/Supervisor experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage a team

  • Effective communication skills

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

Weekend Track Rate for day shift: $60.65 per hour

Experience-based Pay Range: $41.75-$58.20

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
