Mechanic I- Sunnyview - Full Time Days

Additional Opportunities for hiring and training Maintenance Workers

• Understanding of skills like mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting & patching, and ability to troubleshoot and perform fixes or repairs

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems

• Higher carpentry skillset to be able make repairs to millwork, surfaces, furniture etc

• Support Water Management Plan, Life Safety Plan, Critical Equipment Plan, and work directly or side by side with vendors

• Ability to understand regulations, execute critical tasks including running emergency generators, and be able to understand electrical infrastructure

• Support management team with emergency and planned system and equipment shutdowns (Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical)

• Use of computer system and applications as they relate to communication, documentation, work order system, building management system and regulatory compliance and education

• Perform building rounds as they relate to security & safety, mechanical infrastructure, operations of the systems, basic understanding how they work and what’s is with in normal vs. abnormal functions and taking appropriate action

• Pool Maintenance and Support

• Fire System Support and Medical Gas Systems support

• Support junior members of the team and Manager

• Seasonal Snow and Ice treatment and plowing

Minimum Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in the commercial HVAC field

High School graduate, or G.E.D.

Pay Range:$18.50-$24.66

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
